Castle Hill Elementary was awarded a Peace Pole for their participation in Choose Peace and spreading cooperation, tolerance and positive change all year round in their school. Annual Choose Peace Contests New Deadline 5/24/2014

This September we are celebrating our 5th annual Peace week. The week is devoted to commemorating and strengthening the ideals of a peaceful society for children and families. The week is planned in collaboration with Broward County Schools and adopted by many organizations and communities across Broward County. This year's theme is: Dare2Care about Peace - Share the Message!

Choose Peace Week 2014 Sept.15-19 Events

More than 500 students from Silver Shores Elementary School gathered outside the school along Southwest 17th Street and 160th Avenue to form a giant peace sign. Their message read, “Choose peace and stop the violence.”
